Why we ask

We review every payroll before it runsThe cutoff tells us when to start checking timecards. The payday tells us when we must be done.
Weekly or every two weeksPick the weekday the money lands. Twice a month and monthly use days of the month instead.
The next paydayOne real date. From it we lay out every payday, cutoff and review for the year.
Bank holidays move paydaysDeposits can't land on Christmas, July 4th or the other federal holidays. Pick whether those paydays move a day early or late; the calendar beside the form shows every move.
Your pay periodThe days one paycheck covers. Expense receipts are gathered by pay period and sent in one batch at the cutoff, so the cutoff is the deadline employees see. Right now: Oct 26 – Nov 1, 2026.
Cutoff timeIf crews text hours Monday morning for a Friday payday, say Monday at 10:00.

Paydays have a deadlinePay periods can be no longer than a month, and payday must fall within ten days of the period's end. C.R.S. 8-4-103.
Overtime is daily tooTime and a half after 40 hours a week, after 12 hours a day, or after 12 consecutive hours, whichever pays more. COMPS Order, 7 CCR 1103-1.
